Annual Toy Drive & Community Needs Collection
Holiday Season | Annual
Every holiday season, our team hosts one of the most anticipated giving events of the year. What started as a toy drive has grown into a full community needs collection — gathering toys, clothes, household essentials, and more for families in need across our region. and every donation stays local, going directly to families in New Jersey and New York.
Beneficiaries include:
• Agape House — providing shelter, resources, and hope to families in crisis
• Robert Wood Johnson Hospital — supporting patients and families during difficult times
• Trina's Kids Foundation — part of the largest toy drive in the world, bringing joy to children who need it most
Annual Backpack Giveaway
Back-to-School Season | Annual
Every year as the school year begins, MassMutual NJ-NYC makes sure local students are ready to learn. Our backpack giveaway provides school-aged children with fully stocked backpacks — supplies included — so that no child has to walk into a new school year unprepared. We believe that access to education starts with the basics, and we're proud to help provide them.
Beneficiaries include:
· Agape house-providing shelter, resources, and hope to families in crisis
· NJ Cares
For seven years, we’ve hosted a tent for our associates partners and clientele spend the day at one of new Jersey’s most historic and premier sporting events “The Hunt’ – with the support of sponsors like MassMutual New Jersey-NYC, racegoers and event partners, the Far Hills Race Meeting has given more than $22 million to support local healthcare organizations such as RWJ Barnabas, Crossroads4Hope, Bonnie Brae, Community in Crisis and Life Camp.
— LifeBridge Program Callout —
$10.4 Million in free life insurance distributed to eligible families through MassMutual's LifeBridge℠ Program LifeBridge provides free life insurance to lower-income working parents whose children participate in qualifying nonprofit programs. MassMutual NJ-NYC is proud to be part of this program, which has protected thousands of families who might not otherwise have access to life insurance. |
— In 2008, we founded Emerald Bikes for Kids —
A charity that helps underprivileged children realize the dream of owning their own bicycle and enjoy the benefits of the healthy lifestyle that comes with riding a bicycle. We have hosted two Emerald Bikes 4 Kids events, in which we raised funds to donate bicycles, helmets and locks to approximately 400 students in Bergen and Somerset Counties. We hope to continue this highly successful event for years to come.

Trina's Kids Foundation operates what is recognized as one of the largest toy drives in the world, ensuring that children who might otherwise go without experiencing the joy of the holiday season.
Thera Youth
TheraYouth helps children in underserved communities overcome physical and developmental barriers through affordable outpatient therapy, creating healthier futures. We are a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to addressing the healthcare-accessibility gap that exists in high-density neighborhoods.
